How to promote a MDaemon account to a list administrator to manage a mailing list in Remote Administration

List Administrators can manage the mailing list's settings found at: Settings, Members, Headers, Subscription, and Notifications.

Whenever a user who is designated as a list administrator logs in to MDaemon's Remote Administration web interface, there will be a new Mailing Lists menu available for managing any lists over which the user has access.


To configure a List Administrator:

  1. Login to Remote Administration as a Global Administrator
  2. Select the Main icon
  3. Select Mailing Lists
  4. Select the mailing list in question.
  5. Select Edit
  6. Click List Administrators
  7. Enter the email address of the list administrator.
  8. Click Add
  9. Click Save and Close
