Webmail includes an option to unsubscribe from user folders and hide unsubscribed folders. This will allow users experiencing performance issues both in Webmail and ActiveSync to exclude folders that do not need to be displayed.
Folders unsubscribed and hidden in Webmail will effect ActiveSync clients as well. This will allow for increased performance by excluding these folders from syncing.
The following steps are using Webmail's Pro theme. The LookOut, WorldClient, and Lite themes will appear differently with the same options available.
To hide unsubscribed folders in Webmail:
- Login to Webmail
- Select Options
- Select Folders
- Under Display Settings and check Hide Unsubscribed Folders
To Unsubscribe from Folders:
- Login to Webmail
- Select Options
- Select Folders
- Navigate to the Folder List
- Click/Tap on a folder to open Folder Actions
- Uncheck Subscribe
- Click the X in the top right corner to close the Folder Actions menu.
