How do I enable the SecurityGateway Add-in in Outlook for Microsoft 365 accounts?

The SecurityGateway Add-in for Microsoft 365 accounts allows users to mark messages as spam or non-spam. Selecting one of these options sends the message to SecurityGateway to be learned as spam or non-spam messages.

  • In Outlook, select the Home tab
  • Select Manage Add-ins
  • In the Add-ins for Outlook window, search for Junk Mail Filtering for SecurityGateway
  • Toggle the switch to enable the Add-in

Selected messages can then be marked as Spam or Non-Spam using the thumbs up/down icons added to the Outlook Home menu.
